150:7.4 “QUE TANTO AMÓ A JESUS”… UNA TRADUCCIÓN AMOROSAMENTE LIBRE (TRAD. LATINA)

^(1684.3) La mayoría de los viejos amigos de Jesús, incluyendo el maestro chazan QUE TANTO LO AMÓ EN SU JUVENTUD, habían muerto o se habían ido de Nazaret, y la generación más joven tendía a resentir su fama y alimentaba intensos sentimientos de celos y envidia. No querían recordar su temprana devoción a la familia de su padre, y lo criticaban amargamente porque no visitaba a su hermano ni a sus hermanas casadas que vivían en Nazaret. La actitud de la familia de Jesús también contribuyó a aumentar los sentimientos hostiles del pueblo. Los ortodoxos de entre los judíos aun llegaron a criticar a Jesús porque iba demasiado rápido camino a la sinagoga este sábado por la mañana.

^{(1684.3) 150:7.4} Most of the older of Jesus’ friends, including the DOTING CHAZAN teacher of his youth, were dead or had left Nazareth, and the younger generation was prone to resent his fame with strong jealousy. They failed to remember his early devotion to his father’s family, and they were bitter in their criticism of his neglect to visit his brother and his married sisters living in Nazareth. The attitude of Jesus’ family toward him had also tended to increase this unkind feeling of the citizenry. The orthodox among the Jews even presumed to criticize Jesus because he walked too fast on the way to the synagogue this Sabbath morning.

Doting: adoring, affectionate, loving, devoted…  “dedicado” sería una buena opción
