163:6.5 SE DEBE ATENDER A LAS REFERENCIAS BÍBLICAS DEL TEXTO. ES IMPORTANTE (T. EUROPEA)

(1807.4) ^163:6.5 Luego se dirigió a todos los discípulos, y dijo: «Habéis oído cuántas ciudades y pueblos han recibido la buena nueva del reino, y cómo han sido recibidos mis ministros e instructores tanto por los judíos como por los gentiles. Benditas son en verdad esas comunidades que han elegido creer en el evangelio del reino. Pero, ¡ay de los habitantes que rechazan la luz en Corazín, Betsaida-Julias y Cafarnaúm, esas ciudades que no han recibido bien a estos mensajeros! Declaro que si las obras poderosas que se han hecho en esos lugares hubieran sido hechas en Tiro y en Sidón, los habitantes de esas ciudades llamadas paganas se habrían arrepentido hace mucho tiempo DÁNDOSE GOLPES DE PECHO. En el día del juicio, el destino de Tiro y de Sidón será por cierto más llevadero.»

^{(1807.4) 163:6.5} Then, speaking to all the disciples, he said: “You have heard how many cities and villages have received the good news of the kingdom, and how my ministers and teachers have been received by both the Jew and the gentile. And blessed indeed are these communities which have elected to believe the gospel of the kingdom. But woe upon the light-rejecting inhabitants of Chorazin, Bethsaida-Julias, and Capernaum, the cities which did not well receive these messengers. I declare that, if the mighty works done in these places had been done in Tyre and Sidon, the people of these so-called heathen cities would have long SINCE REPENTED IN SACKCLOTH AND ASHES. It shall indeed be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon IN the day of judgment.”

Lc 10 13 “¡Ay de ti, Corazín! ¡Ay de ti, Betsaida! Porque si en Tiro y Sidón se hubieran hecho los milagros que se han hecho entre vosotras, ya hace tiempo que su gente se habría vuelto a Dios y lo habría demostrado poniéndose ropas ásperas y sentándose en ceniza.i 14 Pero en el día del juicio el castigo para vosotras será peor que para la gente de Tiro y Sidón. 15 Y tú, Cafarnaún, ¿crees que serás levantada hasta el cielo? ¡Hasta lo más hondo del abismo serás arrojada!j
