Es fácil la traducción literal:  investiture = investidura  sin considerar que el inglés tiene acepciones diferentes en muchos sentidos al español.

(570.8) ^49:6.19 Éstos son los mortales que se fusionan con sus Ajustadores durante la vida mortal, y tales personalidades fusionadas con el Ajustador atraviesan el espacio libremente antes de ser envueltas en las formas morontiales. Estas almas fusionadas van por tránsito directo de Ajustador a las salas de resurrección en las esferas morontiales más elevadas, donde reciben su investidura morontial inicial así como lo hacen los demás mortales que llegan de los mundos evolucionarios.

investir:1. tr. Conferir una dignidad o cargo importante. Lo invistieron CON, o DE, los honores del cargo.

Realmente lo que reciben es un cuerpo morontial...  no creo que se concluya eso de "investidura", sí quizás "vestimenta". Se dice "vestimenta mortal": ver el uso de esta palabra en este enlace --y en otros muchos--:

Y si se dice de manera alegórica "vestimenta mortal", con el mismo significado se puede decir "vestimenta morontial"...
