transacciones de este momento extraordinario no fueron las VISIONES
FANTASMAGÓRICAS de una mente hambrienta y debilitada, ni tampoco fueron los
simbolismos confusos y pueriles que más tarde se transmitirían como las “tentaciones
de Jesús en el desierto”. Más bien fue ésta una temporada para la meditación
sobre la memorable y variada andadura del ministerio de gracia en Urantia y
para la preparación cuidadosa de esos planes para el ministerio ulterior que
pudieran servir mejor a este mundo y contribuir a la vez al mejoramiento de
todas las otras esferas aisladas por la rebelión. Jesús discurrió en toda la
gama de la vida humana en Urantia, desde los días de Andón y Fonta, pasando por
la falta de Adán, y llegando hasta el ministerio de Melquisedec de Salem.

The transactions of this eventful time were not the FANTASTIC VISIONS of a
starved and weakened mind, neither were they the confused and puerile
symbolisms which afterward gained record as the “temptations of Jesus in the
wilderness.” Rather was this a season for thinking over the whole eventful and
varied career of the Urantia bestowal and for the careful laying of those plans
for further ministry which would best serve this world while also contributing
something to the betterment of all other rebellion-isolated spheres. Jesus
thought over the whole span of human life on Urantia, from the days of Andon
and Fonta, down through Adam’s default, and on to the ministry of the
Melchizedek of Salem.
