Marybeni RJ, a quien muchos de vosotros conocéis, me ha indicado un error de fecha que ha sido óbice para poner en cuestión la veracidad del libro:

Debe decir 1806 y no 1808.

Aun el evanescente hombre rojo tuvo un profeta de este tipo durante los últimos cien años, el shawnee Tenskwatawa, quien predijo el eclipse de sol en 1808 y denunció los vicios del hombre blanco. Muchos verdaderos maestros han aparecido entre las varias tribus y razas a lo largo de las largas edades de la historia evolucionaria. Y seguirán apareciendo para desafiar a los shamanes o sacerdotes de cualquier edad que se opongan a la instrucción general e intenten obstaculizar el progreso científico.
